When David Jones first came to New York in 1964, it was as the iconic character of The Artful Dodger in Oliver! The musical production of the classic Charles Dickens tale made him the toast of Broadway and garnered him fans that included the legendary Judy Garland.

The following year, David took on another renowned Dickens character, Sam Weller, in the musical production of Pickwick at the Los Angeles Music Center. Shortly after, he was cast in The Monkees television show, which premiered in September, 1966.

To honor these two early performances, Team Jones is making available a limited collection of Artful Dodger and Sam Weller holiday ornaments to benefit The Davy Jones Equine Memorial Foundation (DJEMF).

Collected throughout the years from all over the world, these ornaments are made from vintage English horse brasses, tied with festive holiday ribbon. Please note that due to their age, each brass ornament will differ slightly in finish, quality, and wear.

Quantities are limited and will sell out, so please shop early to avoid disappointment. Proceeds benefit David’s beloved DJEMF herd: Baz Foster, Billy, Beau, and Weekend in Devon.
